GUIDED TOUR AROUND KAUNAS OLD TOWN

With a travelling guide on board, a boat tour on the rivers Nemunas and Neris lasts around 1.5-2 hours. During this tour you can admire the beauty of Kaunas Old Town, architectural heritage, Aleksotas Old bridge, Aleksotas suburb, Lutheran block in Old Town,  “Zalgiris” arena, new housing estates and developing Kaunas. You will have the opportunity: to see the confluence of the two largest Lithuanian rivers, Nemunas and Neris, to navigate on the river Neris and admire the views of Kaunas Castle ( built in XIII century) and the sculpture of the “Freedom Warrior”. During the boat tour, the guide will educate you with interesting facts and stories about Kaunas city and it’s formation. The tour starts and finishes at one of the oldest Catholic Church in the country with a unique Gothic Style, “Vytautas the Great” Church. The tour route might be altered/changed depending on the conditions of the rivers and weather.

For the boat “Kaunas” (1-35 passengers) costs:

– €280 with a guide for 1.5 hours

– €365 with a guide for 2 hours

– €182 without a guide for 1.5 hours

– €242 without a guide for 2 hours

For the boat “Perlas” (1-50 passengers) has a slight tour route variation and it costs:

– from €705 with a guide for 2 hours

-from €582 without a guide for 2 hours (shortest time).
